Jon DeVries

Collins Fellow at Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice

Mr. DeVries is Readership Editor of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, a New York Times Company newspaper. He has worked at the Herald-Tribune since 1994. As the Readership Editor since 2002, he has worked closely with the newsroom and the publisher to drive readership through branding, community relations and all other functions of the newspaper in this first-of-its kind job.

 

DeVries graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and outside concentrations in African Studies and French.
